# Worksheet instructions

These files contain a blank template and synthetic worked example. They are planning records, not a payment import specification. Import IDs as text and preserve leading zeros. Amounts are USD. Keep bank details, tax identifiers, patient data, customer addresses, and confidential source content out of these files. Store evidence in an access-controlled system and use references here.

The example uses invented rates and agreements. Replace them with your approved terms, due dates, authority rules, and legal requirements. No formulas or external links execute in these CSVs. Calculate values in your controlled working copy and validate totals before relying on them.

## Batch and version identities

Each row represents one compensation component. The 12 original pieces keep stable deliverable IDs. A revised file version does not automatically create another full piece fee. The two REVISION records are separately authorized paid additions to PIECE-001 and PIECE-002, with their own component IDs and parent references.

Nine accepted pieces at $80 total $720. Two paid additions at $25 total $50. The prior underpayment correction adds $20. Approved total is $790. Three pieces remain pending review, representing $240 of potential additional compensation. Potential total across all rows is $1,030. This is not all approved or paid.

If the three outstanding pieces are later accepted at their original $80 rate, their added approved amount is $240 and cumulative obligations become $1,030. Preserve their original rate-version and assignment dates. The example's hypothetical new $90 rate applies only to assignments accepted from November 1, unless an authorized amendment says otherwise.

All approved lines are unpaid in this snapshot. A pending row's zero approved amount does not mean the work is automatically unpaid or can be delayed beyond legal obligations. Track review deadlines in the production system. Keep client files and confidential content outside the payment worksheet. Link adjustments to prior payments without overwriting historical statements.
