Editorial standards
How Wingspan prepares, attributes, updates, and corrects its articles.
Who is responsible
Wingspan is responsible for the content published in its resource library. An article’s byline identifies its author; where no individual author is recorded, the byline names Wingspan. When an editor is credited for a revision, the original author’s credit remains visible.
Contributor pages collect work attributed to each person. Professional biographies, credentials, and external profiles are published only after approval. An author or editor credit does not, by itself, mean an article received specialist legal or tax review.
Sources and comparisons
Our editorial standard is to check factual claims against primary sources, including government guidance, product documentation, and the underlying customer story. Articles link to supporting sources so readers can inspect the context. Rules, product capabilities, and prices can change; a source’s date and scope matter.
Wingspan sells workforce software. Our comparisons reflect that perspective and should explain the operating conditions in which each approach fits, the work the buyer must own, and relevant limitations. We distinguish documented capabilities from our recommendations.
AI assistance and editorial judgment
We use AI tools to help research, draft, revise, and check some articles. Wingspan remains responsible for publication decisions and corrections. AI output is not a primary source, and an automated check is not a qualified professional review.
Specialist review
Tax, legal, and worker-classification topics require attention to jurisdiction, effective dates, and the facts of a specific situation. These articles provide general information; readers should use an appropriately qualified adviser for decisions about their circumstances.
A “Reviewed by” credit is added only after the named subject matter expert completes a review, with the review date recorded. If that credit is absent, the page does not claim specialist review. Editorial review and specialist review are separate steps.
Publication dates and updates
The publication date records the original article date. A separate update date identifies a substantive revision. Layout changes and routine site builds do not reset either date. We preserve original author credits when updating an article and identify the responsible editor when one is recorded.
Request a correction
Send the article URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, and a supporting source to support@wingspan.app with the subject “Article correction.” Please omit account numbers, tax IDs, and other sensitive information. Wingspan can then assess the issue and update the article where needed.
