Wingspan MCP connects Claude or ChatGPT to your Wingspan records, so your team can check onboarding, prepare payables, and look up payment history in a conversation. Your permissions still apply, and payment approval stays in Wingspan.
Ask about any worker on your record
Wingspan is the AI-native platform for the flexible workforce, with onboarding, work, payments, billing, and compliance on one worker record. Wingspan MCP gives your assistant permissioned access to that record.
Search your roster by name, email, company, or your own reference. See who hasn't signed up, which paperwork is outstanding, and whether a worker can be paid and why.
Add and invite workers
Create a worker record, assign an existing engagement, and send the invitation from the conversation. Before anything changes, the assistant shows you what it plans to do and waits for your approval.
See what you owe and what you've paid
Ask about open obligations or about payments made in a period, like last quarter. Searching reads your existing payables without creating or changing any of them, and canceled payables are left out unless you ask for them.
Prepare draft payables for your team to review
Describe a new payment obligation with the worker, amount, and due date. You review the details before the assistant creates anything. The payable is saved as a draft that the worker can't see, with no payment scheduled.
Trace a payment back to who approved it
Look up a single payable to see its status and history, including the changes that explain what happened. The assistant reports what Wingspan's Payables screen shows.
A confirmed deposit means the sending bank finished processing. It does not mean the funds are available or final. Wingspan support handles further bank-transfer questions.
Preview the next payroll run before you start it
Ask what the next run would pay against your records as they stand today. Paperwork, approvals, edited amounts, and cancellations can change the total, so ask again after changes or closer to the run. Starting payroll and choosing a funding source stay in Wingspan.
Your permissions and approvals still apply
You sign in through Wingspan and approve the connection, and the assistant gets only the access your Wingspan sign-in already has. It can't approve payments, move money, create or rotate API keys, or change who can access your account.
Responses can include worker names, email addresses, and onboarding status. Bank account numbers, card numbers, phone numbers, and internal notes aren't returned.
